Before Booking a consultation patch test
Before booking your patch test, please make sure the treatment area is clean, free from fake tan, and has not been recently exposed to strong sunlight or sunbeds. The hair in the area being treated must have at least 3 weeks of growth so we can clearly assess the true hair colour and suitability for treatment.
Please also avoid waxing, threading, or plucking the area before your patch test. If needed, let us know about any pregnancy, breastfeeding, medications, or skin conditions, as these may affect whether treatment is suitable for you. A patch test is required to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate for your skin and hair type before booking.
The process,
From your initial consultation to your final session, we guide you through every step. First, we assess your skin and hair type to create a personalised treatment plan. A Patch test is done on a consultation appointment. A Medical form is sent to you and details on what needs to be done prior to the patch test. I required at least 3 weeks of hair growth in the area that you are planning on having the treatment on due to many factors , in order to give the best outcome for you.
During each session, our advanced laser technology, combined with ice packs for comfort, targets unwanted hair. Over a series of sessions, you will observe progressive hair reduction, culminating in smooth, beautiful skin. We are committed to making your experience effective and comfortable.
Ideal for medium to dark hair
Laser hair removal is most effective for individuals with medium to dark hair, delivering the best visible results and long-lasting smoothness. Our advanced technology targets the hair follicle precisely and effectively. Clients with light blonde to light brown hair may experience less effective results, as lighter hair contains less pigment for the laser to target.
Because laser hair removal works by targeting melanin, the pigment found in the hair.
Darker hair contains more melanin, so it absorbs more of the laser energy. That energy travels down to the follicle, where it heats and damages the root to reduce future hair growth. This is why medium to dark hair usually responds best.
Lighter hair - such as light blonde, light brown, grey, white, or red hair - contains less melanin, so there is less pigment for the laser to detect and target effectively. As a result, the treatment may be less efficient and produce weaker results.

Before all Your Laser Hair Removal Appointment
To get the best results from your treatment, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
- Shave the area 24 hours before treatment, unless you have been advised otherwise.
- Do not wax, pluck, thread, or use hair removal creams before your appointment, as the hair follicle needs to be present for the laser to work effectively.
- Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds before treatment, and arrive without sunburn or irritated skin.
- Make sure the area is clean and free from fake tan, moisturiser, deodorant, makeup, or other products on the day of your appointment.
- Avoid harsh skincare products such as retinol, acids, or exfoliants on the treatment area for a few days beforehand if relevant.
- Let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have any skin conditions, as this may affect your suitability for treatment.
Please note: for a patch test or consultation, the hair may need to be grown for at least 3 weeks in the area so the true hair colour can be properly assessed.
